YOUR WEBSITE AS AN APP
Allow your customers to download and install your website as an app.
Progressive Web Apps (or PWAs) are best described as websites which behave like apps. They can be installed to your visitor's home screen and accessed offline, just like an app.
While relatively new, the fact that they're faster and more convenient than App Store apps means they're soaring in popularity. One of the best known is Twitter Lite, which is a PWA version of Twitter's main app.
All our websites, including this one, can be "installed" like an app. If you'd like to give it a try, instructions for Apple and Android devices are below.
ON APPLE PHONES/TABLETS
Open the website in Safari, click the 'share' button (the middle one) and select "Add to Home Screen" in the bottom row.
ON ANDROID DEVICES
Android varies from device to device. If you haven't yet been prompted to install this site as an app, you may need to wait for a software update.
